Mojka Žagar-Gašperšič (b. 1960), a graduated teacher of mathematics and trained musician joined the Omerzel-Terlep duo in their revival of archival records of folk songs and tunes in the tenth year of their concert activities. In 1985 she won the Republic Singing Competition (Prof. Jelka Stergar). Žagar Gašperšič and Omerzel-Mirit were both also vocally trained in Ljubljana and they worked on their vocal technique under Prof. Jelka Stergar. As a teacher of natural singing and voice cultivation, Žagar Gašperšič focuses her attention on awakening, developing and encouraging unique natural vocal qualities of an individual. Her contribution in the ensemble is to revive folk songs and various styles of folk singing, by which the ensemble presents the old and already forgotten vocal techniques, and she also plays various folk instruments.
