Used in the performances are original folk instruments of antique value and reconstructions of instruments already forgotten on the Slovene territory:

– a dulcimer (small cimbalom) and grand cimbalom
žvegla-s (wooden cross flutes without keys of various sizes)
– panpipes
– zithers (harmonic, drone, violin, harp and guitar zithers)
– jaw harps
– flutes made of thick marsh reeds
– clay ocarinas
dvojnice (wooden double flutes)
– bagpipe and diple with a windbag
– tamburitzas
– hurdy-gurdy
sopele and šurla-s (untempered double flutes from Istria)
– horns (made of animal horns and tree bark)
gudalo-s (earthenware pot basses)
– little bass (violoncello)
– tambourine
– drums, little drum and “devil’s drumhudičev boben«)
– and a number of simple, improvised sound-producing implements such as čivink (a grass leaf between two wooden chips) and leaves, bells, spoons and sound-producing implements made of everyday natural materials (gourds, dry autumn fruits, etc).
